Thanks Monika. I couldn’t believe my luck when I found lots of slithering snakes in an old National Geographic. Where would I be without my magazine collection? And parts of the doorway were drawn by Greg many years ago when I had a Secret Garden theme going.
Thanks Carol. I enjoyed making it and thought about what it would take to step over all those snakes and pass by the spider. We will shed a few snake skins along the way.
The Serpentine Road winds, following the path of the Rainbow Serpent, to the House of the Serpents and beyond. The House of the Serpent is a charming, rambling old house on a rather expansive property that provides good bed and breakfast, but it's not your usual B&B. Where else would you find a New Year's Celebration in the middle of the year presided over by a veiled Gorgon? Will she be pleased with the troupe's performance or will someone be turned to stone?
Responsibility has gone into my surrender box…..

Though I will surrender more, this is one thing that will go, too, I have to say.

I can’t believe it either. I am feeling quite amazed at everything, if that makes sense. Lots of stuff around, all good;-)
